So there are moments in motherhood where the universe aligns and everything feels blissfully perfect, (like those hallmark card commercials, you know, the ones that make you tear up, or if you're an emotional mess like me, weep uncontrollably). I share these with you because they are a good reminder (at least for me) on those not so happy, shiny days, that God is good, and we are so truly blessed with are children. For there are some days (as you all have or are now experiencing as you read this), that feel like we are being tested and pushed and stretched to the breaking point (I unfortunately have several examples I could share of those days, but that would defeat my first purpose); and on those days, it is good, if not sanity saving to recall those sweet, blissful moments of God's goodness. So I write all of that just to share that my happy moment of the day was London throwing her arms around my neck (after a fun game of 'chase me mama') and saying "You're my best friend mommy." Gulp....okay, I'm going to hold on to that one for a while; I have a feeling I'll need it in the weeks to come!

Aww, that is too sweet, Kristen! Taylor and I are getting excited for the arrival of your son. (I only wish that we weren't going to have to wait so many months to meet him!) I know London will be a great big sister :)
