Happy Fall

Catching up on the Latest Trends

My little preppy meets bohemian fashionista.

Two Things That Don't Go Together: Baking and Naps

My sad attempt at trying to be domestic and take a little rest.
This pie had it in for me from the start, I only read two measurements wrong while preparing it (2 TBS Bourbon or (very important word) 1/2 tsp vanilla). So there's my incredible vanilla, slighty charred, nuts eaten off the top (in an attempt to determine how burned it was), pecan pie. Enjoy your 'after dinner treat' James.

Mommy's Little 'Helper'

With London's new helpfulness, maybe now I can tackle that kitchen, or not...

And The Winner is...

the kid wearing the pet costume.

Yes, Noble won the costume contest in a costume that was intended for a terrier, but doesn't he pull it off so well?

We had a great time at our church's trunk or treat, London enjoyed visiting everyone's amazingly decorated trunks and downing large quantities of sugar with her friends; it was a great Halloween!

Noble's 7 month Pics

On a side note, the moons aligned and Noble slept from 9-6 last night, his first official time to sleep through the night, and he wasn't even sick (I was sure he was when I abruptly woke up @ 4:00, realizing I hadn't held/fed him. It was very random, since he averages waking up between 3-4 times on a normal night. Oh wonderful sleep, I forgot how much I loved you.

We Couldn't Have Crammed in any More Fun if We Tried...

Our day started out in the chilly morning at Walter's Pumpkin Patch...

Where London bounced...

dutifully posed for the obligatory family pic...

hung out with friends...

and searched for the 'perfect' pumpkin.

We found ours (do you like how I'm holding the boots that I was so proud of myself for remembering so that her shoes wouldn't get muddy?). And then we very quickly packed and skittered (as Eloise would say) down to Stillwater, for a last minute, but oh so fun and exciting homecoming football game at my alma mater.

Fun times with friends!

It was such a great (and incredibly late-I feel sooo old just admitting that)day. Thanks again Sarah for letting us in on the fun! Go Pokes!!!
